Part of a series of finch art by noted bird artist Anna Stunkel illustrating finches on a key tree species they are intimately tied to.  Here the Red Crossbill is portrayed on a pine, a key species they use to extract seeds from for feeding their young.  They extract the seeds and then feed the young a regurgitated pulp. 9″x12″ giclee print.
